Wreckage of aircraft accident turns into an amusement option for several Indians. The locales have been visiting the crash site near Kair village in southwest Delhi since last Tuesday.
The light aircraft of Alchemist Airways crash landed near Delhi because of engine problem but all the seven patients escaped from the jaw of death. The debris is yet to be cleared from the place of the crash and is sealed by the police with just a “do not cross” tape.
People are taking selfies with the broken plane, posing in front of the debris and taking videos. Some of the food vendors are also making the most of this opportunity. People are approaching the site by bikes, other vehicles or by foot.
“I’ve never been on a plane before. I’ve never been this close to one before,” middle-aged housewife Bhanvati said.
“We wanted to see the spectacle. We saw it on the news. It’s a relief no one was hurt,” an auto rickshaw driver pointed it out.
Plane crash is common but turning a crash site into a carnival is something unique.
