The Port Authority will hold two media availabilities on Wednesday, November 27, to discuss holiday travel and the steps the agency is taking to meet high traffic volume through the Thanksgiving holiday.
For those traveling by air this week, more than 1.3 million passengers will travel through John F. Kennedy International, Newark Liberty International, LaGuardia and Stewart International airports. In addition to a full complement of customer service representatives, the Port Authority will assist air travelers at its airport Welcome Centers, where they can check flight status and other airport-related services.
Port Authority Interim Aviation Director Thomas Bosco will brief media on travel preparations at 8:30 a.m. in LaGuardia’s Central Terminal Building, on the departure level near the food court.Port Authority Interim Aviation Deputy Director Huntley Lawrence will brief media at 11 a.m. at the welcome center of Newark Liberty International Airport’s Terminal B.
