Posts and Promotions in the Jet2holidays Trade Team

The UK’s second largest tour operator, Jet2holidays, is continuing to strengthen its commitment to independent travel agency partners by announcing two promotions and two vacancies in its award-winning trade team.

The package holiday specialist is recruiting two Trade Sales Executives to join its 16-strong Trade Team, covering the North West/Northern Ireland and Yorkshire.

Successful candidates will be responsible for working in collaboration with independent travel agency partners to help them grow their businesses. This includes working on joint marketing initiatives, such as Jet2holidays’ mobile travel agency stores, as well as participating in regional events and running training programmes to help agents increase sales.

At its recent annual VIP conference for independent travel agents, Jet2holidays outlined a number of initiatives to strengthen its partnership approach, including the launch of new tailored training programmes and an innovative new in-store branding concept which gives agents the opportunity to integrate a fully-branded Jet2holidays booking centre into their premises. The new Trade Sales Executives will play a key role in developing these new initiatives in partnership with independent travel agents.

In addition to the two positions, Jet2holidays has also announced two promotions in its Trade Team today.

Lloyd Cross, previously a Senior Sales Executive, has been promoted to the position of Regional Sales Manager. Lloyd has worked at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays since 2013, having started in the company’s sales centre. He joined the Trade Team as a Sales Executive in 2014 covering the North East of England and Cumbria, and in his new role he will now be responsible for managing a team of Sales Executives and Senior Sales Executives to increase sales of Jet2holidays through the UK travel trade.

Leiza Sullivan has also been promoted to the position of Senior Sales Executive from Sales Executive. This means that she will be responsible for managing successful trade relations with independent travel agency partners across West Yorkshire and Lancashire. She joined Jet2.com and Jet2holidays in 2012 and worked in the company’s Airports and Tourism Organisations team before joining the Trade Team in 2016.
