As per the report, in few years, the travel market of the LGBT has seen major improvement. However, in seventy nations of the world, comprising many well-known medical tourism destinations, the legal situation of gays and lesbians is still shaky, and many need to be done in terms of education.
As per tour operator Virgin Holidays, two-thirds of the LGBT community are concerned relating to their safety and unfairness when they are travelling. That is the reason company requests its business partners to take on an unbiased and egalitarian approach while dealing with LGBT travelers.
LGBT travelers are keen to receive real welcome like other guests do. They always make certain that they are whole-heartedly accepted, can be themselves and feel protected. The report mentions that in spite of their sexual orientation, LGBT travellers pay good attention to the efforts of sustainability of the companies, towns and regions while selecting their holidays.
As per a Deloitte survey of 8000 millennials conducted in 29 countries, 87 percent appreciated companies that represent socially responsible attitude toward society. The report emphasizes the significance of social media, which is greatly subscribed to by LGBT travelers. It is also a quick means of communicating any discriminatory behavior in various regions and cities.
