Princess Cruises has announced a new Epic Adventure Cruise from Singapore to Alaska on the 2,600-guest Golden Princess. This will help in catering to the Asian market with easy embarkation in Singapore and an exciting 29 to 36-day itinerary.
Sailing from Singapore on 14th April 2018, Golden Princess’ 29-day Southeast Asia, Japan and North Pacific Crossing will bring guests to 11 ports in Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City & Nha Trang), Hong Kong, Taiwan (Taipei), South Korea (Busan), Japan (Osaka, Shimizu, Yokohama, Sakaiminato, Hakodate & Muroran), before crossing the International Date Line in the Pacific Ocean on the way to Anchorage, Alaska.
To quote Mr. Farriek Tawfik, Director of Southeast Asia, Princess Cruises, “We have created this 29-day Epic Adventure Cruise from Singapore due to popular demand from guests in this region who wish to embark the ship closer from home to sail to Alaska instead of just booking the 7-night Alaskan cruise. This cruise appeals to Asians as the ship calls at many North Asian ports especially in Japan where guests will be able experience various local cultural activities and cuisine before they arrive in Alaska.”
Guests on board the cruise can continue on the 7-day Alaska Grand Adventure from Anchorage visiting the Hubbard Glacier, Glacier Bay National Park, Skagway, Juneau, while cruising through Alaska with its dynamic scenery from picturesque shores to quaint coastal towns, before arriving in Vancouver in British Columbia. These two voyages can be combined into a 36-day sailing.
The 29-day Southeast Asia, Japan and North Pacific Crossing fares will cost S$4,520 per person, with the 7-day Alaska Grand Adventure fares to be charged an additional S$1,160 per person. The cruise offers guests an incredible opportunity to experience Alaska’s majestic scenery, with snowy mountains, icy glaciers and magnificent fjords. Guests will also have the opportunity to observe Alaska’s amazing diversity of wildlife including humpback whales, dolphins, bears and bald eagles. Guests can also enjoy on-shore excursion activities including dog sledding, and visits to the national and wildlife parks.
Golden Princess features over 700 balcony staterooms allowing guests to enjoy breath-taking views from their cabin balconies. Guests can take pleasure in an extensive range of inclusive dining options with signature dishes designed by award-winning Chef Curtis Stone featured in the main dining room. Guests can also enjoy an authentic experience with an Alaska-themed dinner and a variety of fresh Alaska seafood options including King Crab, King Salmon, Hump Island Oysters and Halibut.
