Puerto Rico has welcomed an increasing number of cruise ships, which are returning to the island. The popular destinations across Puerto Rico are reopening and the hotels and resorts have started accepting reservations.
Tourists attractions such as the Bacardi Welcome Center, Plaza Las America’s and the Mall of San Juan are already opened for the tourists. Several watersports venues are also expected to reopen before the end of December.
The Puerto Rico Tourism Company has come up with a complete list of opening dates for hotels in the area, with generator power keeping the lights on at many of the resorts. San Juan’s cruise port and Luis Munoz Marin International Airport are both fully operational as reported by the tourism bureau.
The Puerto Rico Convention Center will also be in complete functional form by January; The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association’s Caribbean Travel Marketplace would be one of the first events to be held from January 30 and February 1.
