The new route will be an addition to the already existing services to the Thai capital Bangkok and other holiday destination of Phuket and Krabi.
It will offer four-times weekly seasonal service and will fly between Doha and Chiang Mai with a wide-body aircraft from December 2017 until May 2018.
Chiang Mai allures visitors for providing a calm vibe in the lush setting, it has also been called as the ‘Rose of the North’.
The visitors can gather an authentic Thai experience by dwelling in Chiang Mai and its surrounding rain forest.
Qatar Airways chief executive Akbar Al Baker mentioned about the growing popularity of Thailand among its holiday makers. The new flights to Chiang Mai will mark the fourth route to this beautiful country catering to the demand of the customers quality leisure destinations.
The Europeans customers are fond of Phuket, Krabi and Bangkok. Another destination offering renowned five-star service between Doha and Chiang Mai for leisure travellers will be an add on.
He further said that they Qatar Airways is delivering to the passengers keeping it up with their commitment of providing better services.
In 1996 Qatar Airways first started its flight to Thailand with a service to Bangkok that was followed by flights to Phuket and Krabi.
