Qatar, Indonesia sign MoU to increase flights operated by Qatar Airways to Indonesia

qatarQatar and Indonesia have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU), to increase the number of flights operated by Qatar Airways, to five Indonesian cities, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

 

The MoU was signed by Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) chairman, Abdulaziz Mohammed Al-Nuaimi and air transportation director at Indonesia’s Ministry of Transportation, Djoko Murjatmodjo.

 

Qatar Airways will increase its weekly passenger flights to 45 and cargo flights to 10, to the cities of Jakarta, Denpasar, Medan, Batam and Manado in Indonesia.

 

The MoU also consolidates CAA’s strategy to upgrade bilateral air transport agreements, in line with Qatar Airways’ global expansion plans.
