QATAR Tourism Authority (QTA) and its partners will be at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) next week with the largest delegation for representing the country at this popular travel event. The delegation comprises 38 hotels, tour operators and other industry service providers.
ATM presents the best opportunity for Qatar to showcase its latest tourism developments, as well as its newest tourism and hospitality offerings. ATM is the Middle East’s leading platform for travel and tourism industry members.
Visitors at Qatar’s stand at ATM will get to learn about the country’s heritage, top quality luxury accommodation, cultural attractions, family entertainment, festivals and events, as well as great shopping, dining and leisure options. Also, QTA and Qatar Airways will declare a new initiative that is designed to attract more stopover passengers and facilitate their stay.
To quote Hassan Al Ibrahim, Chief Tourism Development Officer at QTA, “2016 was an important year for policy developments in Qatar, particularly visa facilitation, and we are keen to share the fantastic opportunities created by streamlined access to our destination with visitors and trade partners at this highly-attended event.” He added, “We are delighted to have a large cohort of partners from the private sector with us to showcase Qatar’s increasingly diverse tourism offering.”
QTA officials will also be participating in top forums, including the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and ATM Ministerial Forum. QTA promotes Qatar as a destination around the world by destination branding, international representation and participation at trade shows, and by developing a rich calendar of festivals and events.
