Starting from 7th November, the airline is providing the pajamas to the business class travellers, who are travelling from Australia to some of the specific cities around the globe. Travellers will get to enjoy the special facilities while travelling from Australia to any of the cities like Dallas, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santiago, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Singapore, Tokyo, Beijing, Shanghai, Johannesburg, Vancouver, Dubai and London.
According to Phillip Capps, the Qantas Head of Customer Product & Service Development, there is no doubt that the ‘Business class’ sleepwear is an important aspect of the overall customer experience. He has also informed that the sleepwear has become part of the in-flight dress code with about 95 per cent of people not only wearing them on board, but also taking them home.
Capps has further added that they have introduced sleepwear in the late 1990s and with each design update throughout the years, they have made tweaks and adjustments to ensure that they offer style and much needed comfort when the travellers are laying in them for up to 15 hours.
