Quattro at Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto Rings in the New Year with Dom Pérignon

cq5dam.web.press.400.keepaspectratioThis New Year’s Eve, Quattro Restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley at East Palo Alto will be offering the opportunity to enhance an already decedent four-course dinner with a glass of its most prestigious Champagne. Cheers to the end of 2015 and ring in 2016 with a toast of Dom Pérignon, the world’s most famous Champagne. If splurging on a bottle isn’t one’s fancy, rest assured as Quattro will be offering Dom Pérignon by the glass, a rare luxury that will be hard to pass up, and one that you would only expect to find at Four Seasons. Dom Pérignon by the glass will be available in Quattro starting New Year’s Eve and will continue into 2016.


“We couldn’t be more excited to be able to offer such an exquisite wine,” says Assistant Food and Beverage Director Richard Lanaud. “I want to be able to present our guests with a chance to experience the best Champagne money can buy at an obtainable price point, and what better time to debut this offering than New Year’s Eve!”


The ability to offer such a high-end Champagne by the glass is only possible with the use of the Perlage preservation system. Quattro is fortunate enough to debut a custom version of this system commissioned by Dom Pérignon.  As soon as a bottle of sparkling wine is opened, the wine begins to oxidise and go flat. With the Perlage system, the wine stays fresh and has consistent flavours indefinitely. The mechanics behind the system are simple: a CO2 cartridge is used to replace the oxygen from the opened bottle. The bottle can be re-opened repeatedly for guests to enjoy high-end bubbly at any time.


Highlights for New Year’s Dinner at Quattro include decedent roasted venison loin, tender Alaskan halibut, and a dessert finale made with local Tcho chocolate and toasted hazelnuts.


New Year’s Dinner at Quattro will be served on Thursday, December 31, 2015 from 5:30 to 10:00 pm. Four courses, USD 110 plus tax and gratuities.  Dom Pérignon by the glass, USD 59.
