Radisson tops Senegalese hotel ranking

Radisson Blu HotelThe Radisson Blu Hotel, Dakar has been awarded the top honours of becoming Senegal’s Leading Hotel at the recent World Travel Awards held on 16 October 2013.

Now in their 10th year, the World Travel Awards is renowned as one of the premier accolades in the travel and tourism industry, and the ceremony plays host to government and industry leaders, luminaries, and international print and broadcast media. Each year, hundreds of thousands of key tourism players, including tour operators, tourism organisations and transport carriers from over 160 countries around the world choose winners in specific country-based categories. Five other properties were nominated in the category for Senegal’s Leading Business Hotel 2013’, including King Fahd Palace and the Lamantin Beach Hotel Resort and Spa.
