Recently, a 388-key UAE property has been honored by the Green Globe certification for the second time consecutively. This prestigious award was given as a result of an audit conducted by Farnek Middle East, Green Globe’s Preferred Middle East Partner. Ramada Hotel & Suites Ajman, one of the frontrunners in sustainability has taken better ecological efforts into consideration with a focus to improve waste management scheme followed by water and energy saving. Zero-landfill project, one of the amazing sustainable initiatives of the hotel helps in 90 percent of the landfill waste disposal diverting 985,000 kilogram of wastes via recycling compost machine.
The personal urban farm of the hotel grows vegetables and seasonal crops. Also, a reverse osmosis plant is grown that helps in recycling 60 percent the waste water of the hotel.
