Red Lion Hotels Corporation announced that overnight the Red Lion Inn & Suites Perris in Southern California converted to the brand. This is the third hotel within the last month to become a Red Lion.
The Red Lion Inn & Suites Perris, 480 S Redlands Ave., is located in Riverside County about 30 miles south of San Bernardino, with easy access off of Interstate 215. The hotel has 105 rooms and suites, an outdoor pool, free WiFi and a complimentary hot Roaring Start Breakfast.
“The Red Lion name has strong brand recognition in Southern California,” said Ron Burgett, Executive Vice President of Lodging and Brand Development for Red Lion Hotels. “This property matches up well with our refined Red Lion Inn & Suites segmentation strategy.”
Perris was established in the 1880s when the California Southern Railroad built a depot connecting San Diego to Barstow. The Orange Empire Railway Museum, or the Trolley Museum, is just two miles from the Red Lion Inn & Suites Perris. The region is best known for Perris Lake, March Field Air Museum, Perris Valley Skydiving School, Pechanga Casino and Temecula Wine Country.
In mid-October, the company announced two new franchises converted to the brand including the Red Lion Hotel Ontario Airport in Southern California and the Red Lion Inn & Suites Walla Walla in the heart of Washington wine country.
