Making use of genuine and jet-fresh ingredient from Italy, the Italian Business Semi-buffet Lunch at Alto 88 is always an ideal way for guests to enjoy no matter a formal business lunch or a relaxing break.
Available throughout the week except Sunday, the antipasti buffet is definitely the highlight of the lunch. Delicacies on the buffet table are made of the freshest Italian ingredients. Salad and vegetable will bring a good start of the lunch. Green treats include Grilled Vegetable, Fennel Salad, Mozzarella Roll Filled with Tomato and Pesto, etc. Prosciutto di Carpegna DOP is considered as one of the best ham from Italy. The salting and maturing process of the ham makes its flavour sweet and delicate. The tenderness and taste of the ham absolutely surprises guests who had tried other hams before. Other tempting starters include Tuna Tartar, Roasted Ox Tongue, Cherry Tomato Stuffed with Tuna Mousse are something guests cannot miss.
Home-made pasta and main course always surprise guests with its excellent quality. Items of the menu will be rotated on a weekly basis. Spaghetti Carbonara and Grilled French Pork Jowl with Cauliflower Cream, Pumpkin and Zucchini Chips are some popular ones shared by guests who tried. Besides the regular main course items, guests may also choose Alto 88’s Signature Main Courses recommended by Chef. Home-made Tagliatelle with Fresh Lobster and Cherry Tomato, Confit Salted Cod Loin in Sweet Garlic Sauce with Potato Fondant and Licorice and Morsels of Cockerel with Goose Liver and Black Truffle of the Signature Main Courses are highly recommended. Last but not least, authentic Italian dessert like Italian Traditional Tiramisu and An Array of Artisanal Ice Cream give the lunch a perfect end.
The 4-course Italian Semi-buffet Lunch is $358 per person. Guests may also think of having the 3-course set at $318 per person, if a light lunch is needed. Other combination is also available as per guests’ request.
Perched on 31/F with breathtaking harbour and park view beyond, designing with a hint of purple with white colour based, together with grand European decoration, diners of Alto 88 can surely enjoy a stunning sea view and romantic atmosphere at the restaurant.
Chef Giuseppe Brancati joined as Executive Italian Chef of Alto 88 in April 2014. With more than 15 years’ experience crafting fantastic Italian cuisine, Giuseppe developed his cooking style in many renowned restaurants in Hong Kong as well as Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy. His recipes seek a distinctive taste balance as well as the use of premium ingredients. In 2012, he was awarded winner of the Best Risotto in Acquerello Risotto World Summit.
