Rene Mayer appointed Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing at Hyatt Hotels Indonesia

Rene Mayer has been appointed Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing at Hyatt Hotels Indonesia. In this role, Rene will oversee all commercial aspects of the Grand Hyatt Bali, Hyatt Regency Bali and Andaz Bali, reporting to the General Manager of each property.

A seasoned hotelier, Rene started his journey in the hospitality industry when he was 17 years old. Over the years has worked for InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Kempinski Hotels, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Rene had his first stint in Asia when he was appointed the Director of Sales and Marketing for Sofitel Hanoi in 2011, followed by a posting as Director of Global Sales for Regent Hotels & Resorts in Taipei.

He also worked for Fairmont Hotels in Indonesia for five years. Rene joined Hyatt Hotels in 2019 as Director of Sales and Marketing of the Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi & Residences Emirates Pearl.
