Resort Marketing Group needs to give $900 free cruise after the lawsuit

5852744.attachResort Marketing Group had violated the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, or TCPA by making the automated calls to the consumers where the free cruise was offered in the name of Carnival Corporation, Royal Caribbean Cruises and NCL cruise lines.



One who received an automated phone call offering a free cruise of worth $900 as part of a class action lawsuit.



The suit alleges the cruise company, Resort Marketing Group. All the defendants in the lawsuit have denied any wrong-doing and a settlement has been reached.



If anyone received one of these phone calls between July, 2009 and March, 2014, he or she could be entitled for up to $300 in compensation.



Those who received multiple calls could be eligible for up to $900.

    I get calls all the time, day and night . I told them I am not interested. They still call.
