Daqian ParadiseIn a newly developed theme park in southwest China, a group of thrill-seeking riders were left dangling upside-down in one of its rides.

A footage has portrayed more than 10 tourists who had been sitting on a spinning ride for about five minutes before staff workers had freed them all safely.

A staff member also confirmed that a faulty generator had placed the ride to an abrupt halt, just eight days after it officially opened to the public. This incident had taken place at Daqian Paradise Amusement Park that is situated in Neijiang, Sichuan Province on 4th February.

The videos uploaded on social media shows the ride that was named ‘Perfect Storm’.

It has two rows of suspended seats offered to riders to treat them to an excellent experience of freedom. But then, more than 10 thrill-seekers were trapped and left dangling upside down.

Staff workers made efforts to offer ladders and stools to the riders before fixing the faulty parts.

A female worker told the media that they were freed five minutes later and no injuries have been reported. The amusement park safety inspection was conducted by the district administration of Neijiang on 25th January.

The head of the supervision Sun Shixuan was aiming to check on the safety regulations of the rides and emergency procedure offered to the workers.

Daqian Paradise Amusement Park is yet to offer a statement regarding this matter as yet.
