Royal Caribbean in UK appoints new sales leadership

Royal Caribbean International announced the appointment of two new senior sales personnel a sales director to head up and lead the Royal Caribbean sales team and a new head of key accounts.

From early April, sales director, Martin MacKinnon, will be joining the Royal Caribbean Sales team. He is well experienced and has held  a range of senior commercial leadership roles at Diageo.

He also served as the head of sales at Kimberly Clark, MacKinnon is hired as a senior leader in the Cruise line’s UK and Ireland. He will be reporting  to associate vice president and managing director for UK & Ireland, Ben Bouldin.

He will be directing the full complement Royal Caribbean Sales team in the new role.Donna  joining as the head of  key accounts  she will  be helping to amp-up the Royal Caribbean team as head of key accounts.

She has a track record of developing and delivering winning sales strategies. At the beginning of April Carley will join from Hall & Woodhouse.

Bouldin, who played a key part in MacKinnon’s recruitment, said that  they were intent on carrying out a thorough search for the role of sales director and in the end tyhey screened over 600 candidates.
