Datuk Seri Masidi Manjun, Tourism, Culture and Environment Minister explained that industry experts can profit from their significant training to move in relation with digital marketing and create stronger branding for Sabah in return.
Sabah Tourism for this will be arranging on January 23-24 a Digital Tourism Workshop which is all set to welcome the industry players and interested business owners.
Damien Cook, founder and CEO of E-Tourism Frontiers will be the speaker. He has made presentations in international forums like the World Information Summit in Tunis, the Global Experts Panel on E-Tourism, ITB (Internationale Tourismus-Börse) in Berlin as well as PATA (Pacific Asia Travel Association) Tourism Forums. E-Tourism Frontiers has worked in association with South African Tourism, Indonesia Ministry of Tourism, Athens and Rhodes Tourism (Greece) to name a few, and has collaborated with TripAdvisor, Facebook, YouTube, Expedia and Google.
Sabah Tourism Board will subsidize this first ever workshop. Until January 12, early bird fee is RM500 each participant, and normal fees will be RM650. Closing date for registration is January 17.
