Sabre’s technology would enable the airline to maximize its reach through the Sabre Travel Marketplace connecting them to over 425,000 travel agents globally.
This would go a long way in ensuring that consumers can enjoy an interrupted access to the best deals that are available and create a greater number of revenue opportunities for travel agents and airlines. Rakesh Narayanan who is the Vice President, Supplier Commerce, Sabre Travel Network Asia Pacific said that Nepal is one of the best tourism hotspots in the world.
He added that between 2015 and 2016, tourism has grown by nearly 40% and this is a trend that is likely to continue since the nation has expanded its infrastructure.
Apart from that, the connectivity options are also rising, particularly with airliners like Himalaya Airlines adding new destinations across the region. From August 2017 onwards, the fares of Himalaya Airlines would be making the offering available to the travel agents of Sabre, permitting them to opt for the most cost-effective packages and routes for their customers.
