Bumper summer crowds at the first two Sacred Tree Markets in Port Stephens on December 11 and January 8 have sparked another outing for the colourful, seaside markets on Friday, January 22, 2016, from 4-9pm.
Celebrating “all things beautiful”, the outdoor, twilight markets will showcase local art, design, culture, food and entertainment beside the beach near the Nelson Bay marina, with entertainment on January 22 to include new Triple J ‘Unearthed’ artist, Sammi Constantine.
Unearthed as a star new talent by Triple J, Sammi has scored chart success recently with her single, ‘Call You Mine’. Sammi will perform her songs at the upcoming market in Nelson Bay.
The Sacred Tree Markets embrace holistic, artistic, eco and ethically sustainable products and services for locals and visitors. Market owner, spiritual teacher, healer and ‘compassionate’ entrepreneur, Ganga Ma, is inviting local artisans and food providers to apply for new stallholder space at the upcoming markets in Nelson Bay.
Boasting the motto, ‘Tread lightly on the earth’, the Sacred Tree Markets bring together “outstanding artists, designers, growers, makers, healers and lovers of all things beautiful” to the d’Albora Marinas Nelson Bay.
Port Stephens is a new venue for the Sacred Tree Markets, which are held monthly in Branxton in the Hunter Valley. Ganga Ma is hoping the successful event will become a permanent fixture on the Port Stephens calendar.
