Network Rail deployed a warden wearing a body-mounted camera to the crossing to advise people to use it safely.The foot crossing was shut to members of the public on 14 July after a near miss involving a cyclist.
This follows the tragic death in August 2014 of Yasmin Jones, 22, after she tried to save a dog from being hit by an approaching train.Mark Killick, chief operating officer for Network Rail’s London North Western route, said: “We closed the crossing after the latest near miss to fully understand what had happened.“We have now concluded this review and are working jointly with the council to agree a suitable way forward.”
