The flight had departed from San Diego. Three more passengers were evacuated from the aircraft at the gate by the paramedical staff members, according to spokespeople of Denver Airport. The American Airlines flight 1296 from San Diego to Chicago was diverted to DIA following a turbulence that was experienced by the flight, according to a spokesman of the airport.
The flight had landed around 5.35 p.m.
Terrell Fletcher who is the former San Diego Chargers player was on board the airplane. He referred to the incident as ‘outrageous’ and even posted a video of the paramedics standing at the DIA gate.
Two patients were evaluated and ere refused transport to the hospital initially.
Later, the individuals changed their minds and they were taken to the hospital. American Airlines said that currently, a maintenance team is inspecting the plane.
The plane had been carrying 148 passengers and six crew members on board, as per the airlines company. And, the airline authorities made sure that the passengers were re-booked on other flights to Chicago.
