As of today, SATA will be offering a new rate called “Last Minute”, valid for all the islands of the Azores, which is only available on routes operated by SATA International, between the Azores and the Portuguese mainland.
With this new rate, SATA takes another step towards meeting the expectations of Azoreans in general, by offering trips at lower costs, and at the same time helps to stimulate the development of tourism in the Azores by enabling the use of this rate by non-resident passengers.
The “Last minute” rate, which is both for residents and non-residents of the Azores, will have a final cost of 88.5 Euros for the passenger. This price already includes airport and emission taxes, being free of fuel surcharge.
The new rate that is now available to SATA customers, just as all rates for residents in the Azores, is valid for all the islands in the region, respecting the rules of the public service obligations of air transport, which will be on flights selected and limited to the number of seats available.
The “Last Minute” rate will be sold in all sales channels, direct and indirect, from 48 to 24 hours prior to the flight and, like all special rates, will be subject to restrictions such as no changes, refunds, combinations with other charges, or the accumulation of miles in the frequent flyer program “SATA Imagine.”
Under the “Last Minute” rate, there will be no discount for children between the ages of 2 and 11, and for those under the age of two, provided they do not occupy a seat, there is the reservation payment of 10% of the rate.
Even in the domain of constraints one must consider the observance of stay times, that is, the obligation to comply with a minimum of 2 days and variable maximums depending on flights and applicable dates, as well as the obligation of the booking being made simultaneously with ticketing.
