The Saudi Public Investment Fund will be hosting the Future Investment Initiative which will be formally inaugurated by the chairman, prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud, tomorrow in Saudia Arabia, Riyadh.
There will be more than 2,500 delegates and business figures from more than 60 countries. The attendees will be debating on the opportunities and challenges that will shape the world economy and investment environment in the coming decades.
Experts will debate on new social, economic and intellectual framework needed to drive progress on the first day of the conference. There will be discussions on emerging trends creating impact and how the public and private sector leaders can make use of it.
The panel will include Amin Nasser, president of Saudi Aramco, Larry Fink, chairman of BlackRock, Yasir Al-Rumayyan, managing director of PIF and Christine Lagarde, the managing director of the International Monetary Fund.
There will be another session on breakthrough in artificial intelligence, robotics, virtual reality, big data, social media, medical science and infrastructure that is now converging that is gearing cities for the next generation.
The event will be moderated by Maria Bartiromo, global markets editor for Fox Business, high-profile participants will include Masayoshi Son, chairman of Softbank Group.
There will be an expo featuring the future of Giga-projects , the key element of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 20130 economic programme. The main highlights will be the future and unique experiences and how to utilize the cutting edge technology.
‘Summit on Energy for a Sustainable Planet’ will discuss how technologies and innovations will shape the sector over the next decade.
‘Future of the Information Economy’, ‘Leadership and Partnership for the Age of Uncertainty’ and ‘What Policies Can Drive Growth’ will be the other topics to be discussed on.
The event’s knowledge official partner –BCG, EY, McKinsey and Oliver Wyman will be stimulating debate on how societies and businesses will be able to gather long-term financial returns.
