Saudi Arabia to welcome nearly 30,000 hotel rooms

saudi arabiaSaudi Arabia is on its way to witnessing a record number of 68 new hotels and 529,033 hotel rooms that would be opened in important cities in 2017, as revealed in a new report.


The Saudi Arabia Hotel Construction Overview stated that the regions of Makkah, Al Khobar, Jeddah and Riyadh are going to be the busiest area for hospitality development. This report had been conducted by Tophotelprojects and had been prepared exclusively for The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia 2017.


Some famous hotels are expected to open all across the kingdom this year including Assila Hotel Rocco Forte, Time Qurayyat Hotel, Abraj Kudai Towers, Swiss-Belhotel Al Khobar and Nobu Hotel Riyadh.


The Abraj Kudai Towers is about to be known as the biggest hotel of the world while it would open its 10,000 rooms in the fourth quarter of 2017.


John Suzara, the event manager of The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia 2017 asserted that the scenario of the hotel industry in Saudi Arabia is gradually progressing and 2017 marks an exciting year in this year. Rocco Forte Hotels and Nobu Hospitality are some of the reputed international brands that are slated to enter the market of Saudi Arabia for the very first time this year.


Located in the heart of Jeddah, it boasts of 147 rooms, 63 suites and 94 residential suites, spread across to large towers.


These residences are fully serviced residential apartments in Saudi Arabia. Christian Renz, vice president, sales, Rocco Forte Hotels said that this country has quite a lot to offer and it would therefore be more welcoming for international tourism. He feels that the regional culture and culinary delights, apart from the hospitality of the regional inhabitants is worthy appreciating.


The Hotel Show Saudi Arabia that is based in Jeddah is celebrating its fifth edition this year.


This premium hotel show represents the rapidly evolving hotel industry in the Kingdom.


It would take place from 4th till 6th April at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events and it offers industry professionals collaborating on hotel projects in the region with a golden opportunity to accumulate all the necessary wisdom that would motivate them to develop and maintain the best hotels or restaurants.
