Savour Easter Traditions at Four seasons resort scottsdale at troon north

Published on : Tuesday, March 21, 2017 Easter at Four Seasons Resort Scottsdale at Troon North with an elaborate buffet in Talavera restaurant and picture-perfect children’s activities on Sunday, April 16, 2017.

The Resort’s annual Easter buffet will be served from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm in Talavera.  A Seafood & Raw Bar will highlight poached shrimp, scallop escabeche, and east and west coast oysters with traditional condiments. Enjoy a Brunch on a Bagel bar with assorted bagels, house cured and smoked salmon, smoked trout, salmon roe spread, additional accoutrements and housemade jams. Fruit, bakery and salad offerings include an almond joy cereal parfait, zucchini bread, bear claws, green lentils with roasted carrots and turmeric-spiced roasted cauliflower.

Guests can enjoy multiple made-to-order options, including a custom-made omelet filled with their choice of ham, chorizo, lump crab, mushrooms, cheddar cheese and more, or a custom-made waffle benedict with poached eggs and warm crab salad. A carving station will feature slow-roasted prime rib, cinnamon and cayenne roasted leg of lamb and maple-rosemary glazed ham.  Sweet treats such as a cherry oat crisp, lemon meringue tart and a made-to-order aebleskiver (Danish stuffed pancake) station will be featured in the dessert buffet. The price for brunch is USD 105 for adults, and USD 48 for children ages 5 to 12. Prices include coffee, juice, tea, soft drinks as well as a complimentary Bellini or Bloody Mary for the adults, and exclude tax and gratuity. Reservations are required; there is a 48-hour cancellation policy.

Proof, an American Canteen, also will offer a special Easter menu. Start with sweet pea and carrot soup with dungeness crab. For the main course, enjoy a choice of beer-braised lamb shank with cannellini beans and walnut gremolata, or seared jumbo scallops with sausage-wrapped scotch egg and meyer lemon. Finish the meal with lemon strawberry swirl cheesecake with strawberry rhubarb preserves. The Easter dinner is offered starting at 4:00 pm. The cost is USD 58 per person, and will supplement the daily dinner menu. In addition, Proof will offer a brunch buffet from 7:00 am to 2:00 pm at a cost of USD 40 per person for adults, and USD 19 for children ages 5 to 12.

More Family Fun

Kids of all ages will enjoy a bouncy house and Easter-themed crafts and activities including face-painting, sack races, cookie decorating and a bounce house. Families will want to capture the special holiday moments as the Resort’s youngest guests participate in two egg hunts at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm with views of Pinnacle Peak in the background. The Easter Bunny will interact and take pictures with children throughout the day, and Easter prizes will be awarded as well.

After a successful inaugural run in 2016, Easter baskets will once again be available for purchase for Resort guests and locals. The baskets will be available Easter week and will be personalised with the child’s name. Items in the baskets include a vintage toy, housemade Valrhona chocolate bunny, marshmallows, caramel “bunny bait” popcorn, malted robin eggs, gourmet jelly beans and cheddar bunny-shaped crackers. The cost is USD 64, and the baskets can be picked up starting April 14 for local residents, or will be delivered to the guest room at a time of the guest’s choosing for those staying on property.
