Scoot, a low cost Singaporean airline, adds Honolulu, a business city in the U.S. state of Hawaii in the destination list. This budget airline, Scoot announced that they will fly to Honolulu from next June.
Honolulu is one of five new destinations in USA announced yesterday. The other destinations which are adding by Scoot are Harbin in Northeast China, Kuching and Kuantan in Malaysia and Palembang in Indonesia. The new services bring total destination count to 65 across 18 countries.
The announcement of Scoot comes as the last flight for Tigerair Singapore landed. An integrated Scoot and Tigerair will now operate as a single brand under the Scoot banner and crew members will be outfitted with new uniform designs.
With the end of the Tigerair, Scoot is opening its new brand value. In a statement by CEO Lee Lik Hsin, Tigerair and Scoot had achieved their respective inspections and now Scoot is in good position to offer the guests with more choice, connectivity and values. The enhanced Scoot is introducing more comfortable and luxurious seating with affordability and promises to make more travel opportunities for the guests.
Scoot, is owned and managed by Singapore Airlines and it operates a daily 787 service to Perth. This year Scoot is celebrating its union with Tiger Airways with special deals for its valued customers.
Scoot is successfully merged with Tigerair Singapore which will fly to Kuantan, Pahang and Kuching, Sarawak by the first quarter of next year.
The addition process was kick started in May in 2016 where the two airlines were placed under the same holding company. The current Tigerair fleet is repainted and the complete livery change is targeted to be by mid-2018.
