New York Times Travel Show 2017 edition took place in New York City as exhibited by the Seychelles Tourism Board. It started from 27th January and continued till 29th Jan. The exotic island destination looks forward to USA for maximum tourist arrival.
The New York Times Travel Show features 175 exhibitors from over 130+ countries, over 20,000 participants making it a global platform for trade professionals and travel enthusiasts across the globe. David Germain, Seychelles Tourism Board Director for Africa & the Americas met with media, travel trade and consumers at the exhibition organized at the Jacob K Javits Convention Center along with Mrs. Lylie Moolman from Luxury Tour Operator Gilt-edge Ocean Islands, a partner with STB.
To quote Mr. Germain, “Seychelles was the only country present from the Indian Ocean group of islands at this important tourism exhibition in the USA, which brings together important African Travel Specialists, in search of product and destination information about Africa and the Indian ocean islands, it is important to continue to promote our islands consistently in this very competitive part of the world.”
STB is quite optimistic at the visitor arrival from North America and has increased marketing efforts especially for North America in 2017.
