Shannon Creado joins Banyan Tree Phuket

Shannon Creado will join Banyan Tree Phuket as the new area director of sales and marketing.

He has spent more than 24 years in the field and has strong leadership and public relation skills. He has extensive experience in Asia with a deep cultural awareness that will suit the resort’s marketing efforts.

Creado was delighted to join the team, he said that the changing market dynamics and the recent expansion plans that will bring in new ideas and opportunities in the coming years.

Creado started career in hospitality in 1999 and rose to the position of Director of Sales and Marketing for Goa Marriott Resort in the year 2006. He later took position in other Marriott resorts in Asia, Anantara and Minor Hotels.

Creado became familiar with the extended Asian market while working for positions located in South Korea, Sri Lanka, India and Thailand.

He bagged several awards and accolades during the course of his decades-long career which includes the “Young Hotel Sales & Marketing Manager of the Year” Award from the Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India, Marriott International’s Chairman’s Circle Award.
