The evening started with the famous Pastry Chef Johnny Iuzzini’s – Éclair Diaries video as a part of the signature éclair programme. This journey began last year as Johnny Iuzzini, travelled across the world curating his ‘Éclair Diaries’. Through his local visit in India’s capital city – New Delhi, he curated an exciting local Indian flavor called the “Darjeeling Express”. On this day, Le Meridien Gurgaon’s Exc Pastry Chef, Anil Kumar recreated this local Indian flavour through his Éclair making workshop for all present at the Longitude Bar of the hotel. “Nothing gives me more joy than creating these lovely Eclairs live for my guests. I am so pleased that everyone enjoyed the evening and to my pleasant surprise piped their Eclairs perfectly!”, said Exc Pastry Chef, Anil Kumar, Le Meridien Gurgaon.
As signature Coffees, sinful Éclairs and conversations flowed; the evening soaked in a sweet decadent trance.
The celebrations at the Le Meridien Gurgaon had kick started on the World Éclair Day on 22nd of June wherein the hotel surprised its guests with a complimentary Éclair on an order of any coffee. The enchanted joy of exquisite taste and aroma gave Le Meridien the perfect way to commence this creative coffee inspired week.
