INZBC Spokesman for the Aviation and Tourism sector Matthew Findlay says– “Singapore Airlines offers a number of connections over its Singapore hub from India. With an increasing flow of tourists from India, this partnership will help grow additional Indian arrivals, coming here for honeymoon, upcoming cricket tours, the world cup and adventure activities”.
Chairman of INZBC Sunil Kaushal said “The familiarisation tours planned by both the parties will also help increase New Zealand’s awareness within the untapped Indian domestic market”.
Every year over 30,000 Indian tourists travel to New Zealand and their average length of stay is nearly 13 days. Their travel preference to visit New Zealand is typically during the Indian Spring/Summer months – April to June which makes the Indian market lucrative to the autumn season market in New Zealand.
