The global coffee lovers will love to visit Singapore Coffee Festival 2017, which is open for public from 10 am at Marina Bay Cruise Centre, located at Marina South next to the Marina South Pier. Singapore Coffee Festival 2017 shows the thumbs-up to all the customers, investors and the café owners.
By 9.45am, a group of around 30 people were already waiting in line for the doors to open. By noon, at least 710 coffee lovers had turned up. This gala event is a paradise for the coffee lovers, where present many coffee specialists serving variant and delicious dishes.
Singapore Coffee Festival 2017 is now in its second year, organised by The Straits Times and presented by DBS Bank.
This extravaganza features more than 90 exhibitors, including the coffee suppliers, equipment distributors and cafes, as well as workshops, talks and live entertainment.
The festival opened on Thursday at 10 am to trade and media. The event organiser Adrian Ng, 47, was there to drink coffee and market research. He was very impressed by the location of the Singapore Coffee Festival 2017, by hosting the established brands and an MRT station nearby.
It is for the first time Marina Bay Cruise Center hosted Singapore Coffee Festival. It was held at F1 Pit Building last year.
Mr Xavier Teo, the Founder of Cafe Brawn & Brains, said that the response to the products at his booth have a good response. His cafe is road testing with the coffee beer and pour over coffee at the festival.
Singapore Coffee Festival 2017 ends on this Sunday. There are two sessions each day: Brunch from 10am to 3.30pm, and sundown from 4.30pm to 10pm. The highlights for the programme are the Annual Singapore Aero Press Championships at 6pm, and fireworks at 8.45pm at Sunrise Wharf.
