peruPeru has hogged the limelight once again. The tourist destination has been included in Bloomberg’s “Where to Go in 2017″ list featuring the top 20 travel destinations for the current year.

This major recognition adds to the Sacred Valley’s (Cusco region) recent mention in The New York Times’ prestigious “52 Places to Go in 2017″ edition.

Bloomberg highlights the country’s increasing tourism services, such as the first luxury sleeper train connecting Cusco to traditional villages around Lake Titicaca, to be inaugurated in May.

The list also mentions another Peruvian must-see: Lake Titicaca in South-Andean Puno region. This mystical spot and its “endless horizon” await those who dare venture into uncrowded routes.
