The property is located on the site of a 700-year-old fort that belonged to the Rajasthani Royal family. The basic idea is to conserve and preserve the fort that is 68 miles from Jaipur.
The owner Prithviraj Singh and Espire Group is restoring the project with the idea of getting a five-star green rating by Integrated Habitat Assessment which is the highest classification of national sustainable design in India.
There will be two restaurants, bar and lounge, fitness center, two pools, banquet space, boutique and a kids club. The fort boasts of two temples and three buildings inside the fort that could accommodated the common. Men’s and women’s palaces are also being preserved and restored.
Six Senses Integrated Wellness and Sleep, A Six Senses Spa with Six Senses programmes in the original women’s palace will feature the ayurveda.
The president Bernhard Bohnenberger of Six Senses said that this will add on to our already existing resort portfolio that includes successful properties in China, Maldives, Oman, Portugal, Seychelles, Thailand and Vietnam.
The guests can avail daily safari drives since the hotel is located only 30 minutes from the Ranthmbhore national park.
Spread across 20 countries, six senses operates in 11 resorts and 31 spas. Forthcoming properties will be in New York, Cambodia and Ibiza.
