Event Eyes Communications, that has set its foot in the creative events field, is coming up with another unique concept for Sophia College students. What if You Conference, the event that is aimed to add more to the strength of today’s woman, is scheduled to be held on 21 January 2017 at Tata Tea Teaveda Pro Woman Hall. The event has gathered renowned speakers who will discuss certain adverse situations woman may suddenly fall in and how they can come out of these safely.
What if You are travelling alone late night or are in an isolated place and someone attacks you, What if You are suddenly hurt, physically abused by your partner one day, What if You feel your parents have suddenly started doubting you, What if You find you have a different sex orientation. These and many more issues which the young college woman may come across, they should be prepared with a way out.
Speakers like Nisha Jamvwal, Sushant Divgikar, Dr.Radhakrishnan Pillai, Dr. Swati Lodha, Dr.Nayreen Daruwalla, Mrityunjay Kumar Gupta, Anjali Kirpalani, Harish Iyer, MehrabIrani, JyotiKapoor, Manish Advani, SonalGiani, Vinita Agrawal, Shilpa Gupta and PervinSaket are going to be there to share their experiences and suggestions.
The event will also see the trailer launch of Mona Darling by the hands of Actor AnshumanJha and his co-actors. The movie revolves around cyber-crime, which is an important matter of concern among college students.
The launch of ‘Bag it All’ authored by Nina Lekhi, the founder of Baggitand a Sophia College alumni, will add more value to the event. WE- Woman Empowered India is adding more charm by organising a poetry session for the college students. Bank of India, Tata Tea Teaveda Pro Woman, MAK Lubricants, Jaico Publishing House, Gloyo, Baggit, Mahindra SSG, Radio City and Maadhyam has come on board as partners and supporters of the event.

What if You is a series of events which will be held all throughout the year 2017 in different colleges of the city. The theme of this edition, happening at Sophia College, is woman strength and safety. The college has been very co-operative and the students very enthusiastic. If the conference helps any of these students at any point of life, our objective is met,” said Neha V Jha, the founder of Event Eyes Communications.
