The authorities of the music festival ‘Sound City’ have recently disclosed the line-up for the 10th anniversary of the festival, on 27th May 2017, Saturday. The organisers have also informed that the festival will go on for four days, where the attendees will be able to witness John Cale, Human League, The Kooks and Metronomy.
The authorities have also revealed that on 26th May, the albums of John Cale, The Velvet Underground and Nico, will also mark 50th anniversary. Although the event has been marked as a standalone event at first, but later it has been incorporated into the line-up for Sound City.
It has been known that Metronomy will go on stage on Saturday, where Slaves, Peaches, The Kills, The Hunna, Fickle Friends etc. will also feature.
The Kooks will take the stage on the last day of the festival for the closing ceremony, where Milburn, White Lies, She Drew The Gun, The Sherlocks, Cabbage, The Vryll Society, Local Natives will also join in the festivity.
The CEO of Sound City, Dave Pichilingi has stated that for their 10th birthday they wanted to do something really special, not just to mark to occasion but also to reward all those loyal Sound Citizens who have come with them on every step of this amazing ten-year journey.
He has also informed that The term legend is way over-used these days but they really do have bona fide music legends on the bill every single day of the festival and they still have lots more to announce.
Music enthusiasts will be able to grab the tickets from 27th January, Friday.
