South Africa promises low cost of living

south-africaFor South Africa, 2015-2016 hasn’t been that good due to slow economic growth and deteriorating credit rating status. There are challenges in economy and job growth.

 

The question that arises is that what can South Africa do to overcome the economic storms and offer to the world? SA’s competitive advantages lie in the facts that its cost of living is low compared to most of the developed countries.

 

Major cities like Johannesburg and Cape Town are among the world’s least expensive cities for the expats. Hence, this low cost of living is a potential competitive advantage for economic development. Foreigners from a higher cost of living country can enjoy a quality lifestyle in South Africa at cheap living costs and an increase in purchase power.

 

Besides financial affordability, South Africa also provides great infrastructure and private health care system, good weather conditions, lot of recreational activities and ease of communication with English as the common language.
