The two-alarm fire had broke out at the Ramada Inn that is based on West Landis Avenue just off the Route 55 around 2 a.m. as reported by the local media agencies that also declared that the fire was brought under control about 4.30 a.m.
Around 30 people had to be evacuated from the two-storey, 100-room hotel.
This has been stated by Gil Aponte who is a photographer. He added that the fire had originated inside the attic. He said that none of the fire alarms had gone off to signal the fire breakout.
Two people had been injured by the fire including a police officer for inhaling smoke.
The hotel property also comprises an IHOP restaurant and is based right next to Wingate by Wyndham hotel and also a Hampton Inn. Both these hotels were unaffected by the blaze.
