South Korea collaborate with Asia Cruise Corporation to explore cruise business in Asia

Asia Cruise CorporationThe South Korea Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries has joined with Asia Cruise Cooperation (ACC), with the newest members to promote tourism and brings the tourists through the cruise lines.




The newest member joins forces with the Hainan Provincial Tourism Development Commission, Hong Kong Tourism Board, Philippine Department of Tourism, The Taiwan Tourism Bureau, and Xiamen Municipal Tourism Development Commission.




South Korea is the sixth member of the Asia Cruise Cooperation (ACC), which was commenced by Hong Kong and Taiwan in the year 2014 to fetch major Asian cruise destinations together in a widespread effort to enlarge the regional cruise market. This organization is also responsible in maintaining the guidelines and the tourists’ safety in the cruise.




Luo Yan, Director of Hainan Provincial Tourism Development Commission, said that South Korea, joins Asia Cruise Cooperation as a developed country, which will improve the authority of Asia Cruise Cooperation greatly.




This new joining with ACC will help the South Korean cruises to reduce the cost in promotion, and improve the international competitiveness of ACC members.




This will be favourable to additional promoting the quick expansion of cruise industry in Hainan.



Anthony Lau, Executive Director of the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB)  said that he is delighted to welcome Korea as the sixth member of the ACC.




Their partnership will now help to cover tens of thousands of square kilometres of Asia and the inclusion of Korea gives us an important new strategic dimension.




This powerful coalition gives Hong Kong and South Korea to explore more opportunities to promote Hong Kong’s appeal as a cruise destination, and the HKTB will continue to reach out energetically to key source markets to attract more cruise visitors to Hong Kong.




Together, they have now the chance to travel around in exhilarating new horizons in travel and tap the vast potential of Asia’s fast-growing cruise market.
