South Korean cinema week kicks off in Cuba

South Korean cinema weekSouth Korean cinema week kicked off in Cuba today (May 26) with the premiere of seven films, sponsored by Cuban Cinematheque.

One of the films to be premiered is ‘I’m A Cyborg, But That’s OK’ directed by Park Chan-wook who is also well known for being the director of ‘Oldboy’.

The thriller A Hard Day, by Kim Seong-hun, and New World, by Park Hoon-jung, will also be in movie theaters until June 2, the Cuban Institute of Art and Cinematographic Industry stated.


Other films to be screened at the South Korean Cinema Week will be the animated film The Satellite Girl and Milk Cow, the drama Moebius, the romantic comedy 200 Pounds Beauty, and Coin Locker Girl.
