South Korean low-cost makes emergency landing in Hokkaido

Easter JetA low-cost airline of South Korea had to make an emergency landing on Friday in Hokkaido’s New Chitose Airport, based in northern Japan.


This incident immediately followed immediately after an onboard alarm indicated a fire inside the landing gear storage compartment.


But then, no evidence of fire had been found after the landing of Boeing 737 that was operated by Easter Jet and carry 123 passengers and six crew members on a flight from Incheon, as per the airport authorities.


Eight flights were slightly delayed due to the incident around 3.40 p.m.
