A Southwest Airlines flight with 123 passengers onboard was forced to make an emergency landing in Abilene, Texas. Speculations reveal that smoke in the cockpit was primarily the concern of the pilot which departed from Dallas Love Field on Thursday.
Southwest Airlines flight #12 was scheduled to fly to Albuquerque, New Mexico at the time of the emergency. The plane with 123 passengers along with 5 crew members landed safely and reports reveal that no one suffered injuries.
The passengers were deplaned into the Abilene terminal building soon after the emergency landing as the air maintenance team and firefighters investigated the cause of the unprecedented smoke.
