An aircraft of Southwest Airlines that was travelling to Nashville from Tampa was compelled to go for an emergency landing at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, as per an official report of Southwest Airlines.
The Southwest Flight 1694 was able to make a perfectly safe landing after there were indications of a certain performance issue with one of the engines of the aircraft.
Thereafter, the captain declared an emergency landing as a precautionary measure with an aim to receive priority handling service from air traffic control, as declared by Southwest. There have been no reports of any injuries.
And, Southwest is working hard to get the 129 passengers transported in an alternative plane to continue to their destination to Nashville, as per the official account of Nashville.
