Space tourismWorld View obtained popularity fame because of its “stratollites” technology. Company known for its aeronautical specialists, World View and its high-altitude balloons go all the way to the stratosphere. From such heights, the curvature of the earth can be seen to the fullest, as well as the vast void of space above.

World View was utilizing this technology for private interests for the last few years. Other than launching something overbearing, these stratollites of World View take sensors to space to make quick recordings at an affordable price.

This technology has numerous applications though. The stratollites have wide range of use starting right from monitoring the weather or making scientific investigations. World View has now started to explore a new use for the technology in terms of “private space exploration”.

Named as Spaceport Tucson, this recently launched facility of World View is praiseworthy. As the name suggests, the overriding goal of this facility include space tourism. They began developing the stratollites for public use. It involves a gentle ride of five to six hours where the passengers will be taken from the ground up to 100,000 feet in a pressurized capsule.
