As part of a multi-million pound investment, Glasgow’s five star hotel Blythswood Square Hotel has unveiled its refreshed and reimagined guest rooms and suites as it reaches a major milestone in its refurbishment. Works to the world-renowned hotel continues with guest rooms being the first area to be completed with brand new furniture and interior design from independent design studio Graven Images. With subtle luxury at heart, each guest room is now a sophisticated sanctuary and has been tastefully redecorated to feature marble bathrooms and a host of modern amenities – helping to maintain Blythswood Square Hotel’s reputation as the most prestigious hotel in the city. The refurbishment sees the creation of a new, two-bedroom penthouse suite, plus a new design for all entry level, deluxe and Georgian bedrooms as well as the addition of 12 exceptional new guest rooms. Elsewhere in the hotel, the Restaurant will also undergo refurbishment as well as the popular first-floor Salon bar. The award-winning spa has also enjoyed an upgrade as part of the works with the creation of a brand-new Spa Café so guests can indulge in afternoon tea and light snacks in the comfort of their robes. Murray Thomson, General Manager of Blythswood Square Hotel, said: “I am thrilled to present our newly-refurbished guest bedrooms, which have been finished to an exceptional standard in keeping with our reputation and, of course, the expectations of our guests. “We are committed to offering our guests an unrivalled five star experience and this new multi-million pound investment allows us to do just that. “We are incredibly excited about unveiling the new look and can’t wait to welcome new and regular visitors as we showcase the best hospitality Scotland has to offer.” Widely acclaimed for its exceptional service, the Hotel scooped the title of Hotel Manager of the Year at the 2017 Scottish Hotel Awards. It is also very popular with weddings, celebrations and conferences. Overlooking a private garden square in the heart of the city centre, the hotel’s Georgian townhouses were originally home to wealthy merchants and were later turned into the club headquarters for The Royal Scottish Automobile Club. To promote travel and tourism and especially attracting the Chinese tourists, Spain’s island Ibiza located in the eastern part of the country has launched a new website in Chinese language.

This new website has been launched for the tourism sector among the Chinese population. The Ibiza authorities announced this in an ongoing tourism fair in Spain, Madrid.

The island of Ibiza which is the third largest of the archipelago of the Balearic Islands, presented the website within the framework of FITUR being held from January 17 to 21.

The Mayor of Ibiza, Rafa Ruiz states that it seems every country speaks English, but it is not like that.

He also added that there are millions of Chinese citizens and they are an opened society. He always say Ibiza is one of the capitals of the world. They coexist with many different nationalities and they want the Chinese nationality to be in the city too.

At the presentation, the authorities have given the emphasize on the historical heritage of Ibiza, whose old town, Dalt Vila, was officially named a World Heritage Listed Site by UNESCO. Ibiza saw different peoples and civilizations live on its lands, such as the Phoenicians, the Greeks or the Carthaginians.

Ruiz explained that the heritage of Ibiza can be visited the whole year, but especially in the months of fall and spring, avoiding the crowds visiting the island during the summer.
