Head to Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa this winter to be the first to experience the resort’s luxury Christmas and New Year breaks which will showcase the hotel’s brand new facilities, following a £16 million redevelopment.
English Lakes Hotels Resorts & Venues is creating a world-class Lake District resort with the refurbishment and renovation of the historic Low Wood Bay Resort & Spa, which will be completed after the Autumn. Boasting the most beautiful views over Lake Windermere, the hotel’s plush interior and exceptional new facilities offer an idyllic destination to spend the festive season with the whole family or a special loved one.
Celebrate Christmas and New Year with sumptuous food, sparkling afternoon teas, lake cruises, visits from Santa, spectacular gala dinners and more, whilst enjoying the new and improved rooms and suites, leisure facilities, stunning atrium and outstanding spa with heated outdoor infinity pool.
The resort is offering exclusive Christmas and New Year packages; guests booking before 1st September 2017 will receive a complimentary bottle of champagne upon arrival.
Three-night luxury Christmas break highlights include:
*Christmas Eve begins with a leisurely breakfast followed later in the day by champagne afternoon tea and games. Families have the chance to track Father Christmas via GPS and get cosy in the lounge with hot chocolate and a festive story as well as a visit from some reindeer. The Christmas Belles choir will accompany a scrumptious dinner and the evening will finish with after-dinner cocktails or Midnight Mass and mulled wine.
*On Christmas Day, a Bucks Fizz breakfast with traditional stockings for children and a visit from Father Christmas starts the day. A Christmas Day lunch follows with all of the trimmings and plenty of festive cheer – with no washing up to worry about! Dinner and drinks take place in the evening, followed by a casino and race night with amazing prizes, including weekend breaks.
*Boxing Day begins with a hearty breakfast, before sailing from the resort’s private jetty with Windermere Lake Cruises. Cocktail making sessions are on offer in the afternoon to prepare guests for the Black Tie Gala Dinner in the evening.
PRICE: Adult packages from £695 per person for a three-night package, arriving 24th December until 26th December 2017 to include dinner, bed, breakfast, afternoon teas, Christmas lunch, mulled wine, bell ringers, a visit from Santa, personalised gifts, Lake cruise, entertainment and health club access. 50% reduction for children aged 4-12 and under 3’s are free. Additional nights can be arranged on 22nd, 23rd and 27th December 2017.
Two-night New Year break highlights include:
*30th December, a casino and race night starts the celebrations.
* New Year’s Eve begins with a fabulous breakfast and then sail with Windermere Lake Cruises to showcase the beauty of England’s longest Lake. Champagne afternoon tea follows, next to the roaring open fire. The evening’s celebrations get underway with a Black Tie Hogmanay Dinner followed by music and dancing to take guests into 2018, with pipers, fireworks and plenty of champagne.
* New Year’s Day, a leisurely brunch is served throughout the morning before departing to enjoy a scenic walk in 2018.
PRICE: Adult packages from £520 per person for a two-night package arriving 30th December 2017 until 1 January 2018 to include dinner, bed, breakfast, afternoon teas, champagne and canapé receptions, a Lake cruise and evening events with free health club access. 50% reduction for children aged 4-12 and under 3s are free. Additional nights can be arranged on 29th December 2017 and 1stJanuary 2018.
