A flight of Spirit Airlines that had just taken off from New York’s LaGuardia Airport was compelled to go for an emergency landing at Newark Liberty on Monday night on account of an ‘odor event’, according to official reports.
The passengers from the Fort Lauderdale-bound flight of Spirit Airlines, that if flight 779 were removed from this aircraft.
Thereafter, they were transported to an alternative airplane as per the accounts of the media. There have been no injuries. The mechanics had inspected the plane and made attempts to figure out the actual cause behind the foul smell, as per the report.
The flight had left LaGuardia around 8.11 p.m. and had landed at Newark at 9.21 p.m.
And, the passengers had departed from New Jersey around 1.02 a.m. on Tuesday. Finally, it arrived in South Florida at 3.27 a.m., as per the official website of Spirit Airlines. Spirit did not respond to the request immediately.
