There are so many things to do in Vancouver with the entire family. While the city buzzes with fun-filled activities all year-round, March Break in Vancouver is especially exciting. Adventures for all ages can be found citywide and mountain-high, including at Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver. And, with the Stay Longer- Third Night Free Offer, explorers don’t have to break the bank when taking a much-needed family break.
Families at Four Seasons
Whether guests are visiting from out of town or looking for a local staycation, the Hotel will host an array of family-friendly activities from March 11 to 26, 2017 specifically for children on their school break. Spend a vacation in the heart of the city, where kids and adults alike will find exciting things to do and enjoy details designed to make their stay unforgettable. Kids-focused amenities and activities for children include story time, daily crafts, scavenger hunts, cookie decorating classes, creative workshops and self-guided activities like board games, books and movies. Programming happens daily from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm and includes weekends. Register for activities through the Hotel’s Concierge.
For younger children, cribs can be set up in rooms with extra washcloths, and baby toiletries. Additional items such as high chairs, play pens, bottle warmers, diapers and other baby necessities are available upon request. The Housekeeping department is also able to provide “child-proofing” items to rooms with protective electrical covered outlets allowing parents peace of mind.
Older children are welcomed to their room with their own bathrobes and slippers. Board games and children’s DVD selections are available at the Concierge, as well as recommendations of nearby clothing and toyshops, museums and other family-oriented activities to keep them occupied and entertained.
Parents can also book the specialty Kids in the City Package this March or at any time of year, which includes a second guest room featuring 50 percent off kid-friendly pricing when one full price guest room has also been reserved.
Adult Time Out
Parents looking for a little alone time can book a professional babysitter and enjoy the night off. Slip into a cosy booth at YEW seafood + bar for a leisurely dinner for two or partake in after-hours nightcaps in the lounge’s Reverse Happy Hour, where cocktails and bites are well-priced at CAD 10 each. When parents want some alone time, Vancouver’s only indoor-outdoor pool offers a “couples only” swim session most Friday and Saturday evenings from 9:30 to 11:30 pm. Take a private dip or let muscles relax in the hot tub while overlooking the city’s twinkling lights. In need of a simple yet decadent recharge? Schedule a Couples Massage and spend some side-by-side quality time within the private comforts of RedCedar Boutique Massage Suite.
